We offer a range of anti-aging aesthetics to suit all skin types. By administering anti-wrinkle injections into the face, we can relax facial muscles and improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Our anti-wrinkle injections use a naturally occurring protein known as botulinum toxin, also referred to by the brand names Botox, Azzalure or Bocouture. It is a prescription-only medication which causes the muscles of the face to relax when administered in small quantities to selected facial muscles, to reduce wrinkles and prevent new lines from forming.
Anti-wrinkle injections are a simple and effective treatment to make the face feel fresh and revived. You should expect to see results within a couple of days and the treatment will typically last around 3-5 months.
A small amount of natural occurring protein known as botulinum toxin is injected into selected facial muscles to relax them and block the nerve impulses that make your wrinkle-causing muscles contract. This helps to create a smooth and improved appearance.
Although the toxin starts working within two days of treatment, for optimum results it is best to wait two weeks. At this point the toxin will be fully absorbed by the muscles.
In general, the treatment usually remains effective for 3-5 months, however this can vary between clients.
Your initial consultation will involve a full assessment of your face and a discussion about your ideas and concerns. We'll formulate a treatment plan based on your goals and budget and answer any questions you may have. We'll then book you in for treatment on a day and time to suit, this also allows for a cooling off period so you don’t feel rushed into a decision.
We will discuss this with you on the day of your initial consultation. The areas will be determined following a full consultation.
The amount of injection applied varies from client to client and will be determined following a full consultation prior to the treatment.
Prior to the injections, we will apply some numbing cream so any pain you may experience will be kept to a minimum. The needles we use are very fine, so you may experience slight discomfort at the start, but this should pass quickly.
With every medical procedure there are some risks involved, however the methods we use to administer the injections are designed to minimise any side effects. We will discuss these in detail on your initial consultation.
