Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides in the simplest of terms are injectable, sterile and highly purified products, derived from fish, typically salmon or trout. The polynucleotides are then incorporated into an injectable gel, which once injected binds with water molecules to make skin tissue firmer and more hydrated.

Polynucleotides hydrate the skin and also stimulate fibroblasts which are responsible for collagen production, which results in a firmer more youthful looking skin.

Polynucleotides can be used anywhere on the skin, even on delicate areas such as the under eye and is a popular alternative treatment to tear trough fillers.

Profhilo®

As we get older our production of the naturally occurring Hyaluronic acid declines, which decreases the production of collagen, this can leave our skin looking tired, dehydrated and lacking volume and tone.

Profhilo® is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic acid on the market.

A series of five injections superficially placed into the skin on each side of the face are used to create what is known as the ‘5 point face lift’.

The slow release of the Hyaluronic acid stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which improves skin tone, hydration and the appearance of fine lines.

Two treatments are recommended one month apart to achieve optimum results, then a top up of just one treatment every six months will help to maintain.

Micro-needling

Using an electronic micro-needling device with a sterile twelve needle cartridge allows the practitioner to control the treatment intensity by adapting needle length. This triggers a healing response within the skin resulting in a production of collagen and elastin.

Micro-needling is ideal for treating the loss of elasticity, pigmentation, scarring, stretch marks, rough, uneven skin texture, sun damaged and prematurely ageing skin. A series of 3-6 treatments may be required with 6 weeks apart.
